The all-new FX Super High Output features an all-new, 1.8 liter supercharged
Yamaha marine engine (the industry's largest displacement motor ever),
and the world's first nanotechnology-engineered hulls and decks that are
the lightest and strongest in the market today. Powered by Yamaha's new
1.8 liter, 1812cc, supercharged four-stroke engine that is 300cc larger
than all other high-performance watercraft today, but is almost 50 lbs.

that Yamaha owners demand and expect from a Yamaha built marine engine.
In addition, this new engine is the only engine in the high-performance
class optimized to run on Regular Unleaded fuel.
All new innovations made possible by the
engine's onboard computer are Yamaha's Cruise Assist that reduces throttle
fatigue, improves towing capability, and can dramatically extend the range
of the craft; No Wake Mode that sets the throttle to no wake speeds. This
engine also features an electronic throttle that is a Yamaha exclusive
and is much more responsive than the mechanical throttles found on other
models in this class. This Waverunner also features new advanced reverse
traction control technology for greater maneuverability. |
